  7.  This file was compiled by editing sections of the LightWave mailing list
  8. and the UseNet group.  I originally started this document as a visual 
  9. reference to help myself in various aspects of Lightwave.  I do not claim
  10. to have written anything in this document, if you read something that you
  11. think you wrote...you probably did!  I was going to make this an Amiga 
  12. Guide Document but then I thought I'd like to have this in a book form 
  13. that I can print out & scratch notes on.  I also wanted it to be of use 
  14. to all the people running LightWave on Non-Amiga Platforms. I have 
  15. included some of the text from the Amiga Guide Document that Sergio Rosa
  16. put together a while ago.

  18.  I have divided the sections in three: Quip Tips, General Tips and 
  19. Tutorials.  The first section is for some quick reference material.  
  20. The second section is a little more detailed tips.  The Third section is
  21. specific tutorials.  I tried to include some of the most asked items.  
  22. Mainly things like Creating Fire, Realistic Metals, Explosions and other
  23. items that tend to pop up a lot on the Internet.
